Aurora Technologies was one of the oldest and most successful ship manufacturers in the galaxy. The iteration of the company that worked alongside Sienar Fleet Systems began in Year 12 when Black Sun took over the original company by force. The company operated as a neutral business when Lord Blackrain became the CEO in Year 13 on Day 223. This operation lasted until Year 17; on Day 131 the company was relinquished to the Galactic Empire and on Day 160 it was amalgamated into CorEx.

The importance of Aurora Technologies came from its technology. The company held datacards for popular starships and had an exclusive licencing contract with Sienar Fleet Systems.
