Black Sun (BS) is a galactic government in the northern part of the Outer Rim that was once a feared crime syndicate. To the proven members, the syndicate was also known as the Family. Vigo Amaranalah Jou was part of the Family Council when Lilith Delcroix joined the organisation in Year 11. When Vigo Jou stopped communicating and disappeared in Year 12, Lilith was subsequently allowed to leave the Family on good terms. There are no connections between the Black Sun government and One Nation Under Jou.
