Aurora Technologies (AT) was one of the oldest and most successful ship manufacturers in the galaxy. The iteration of the company that worked alongside Sienar Fleet Systems began in Year 12 when Black Sun took over the original company by force. The company then operated as a neutral business when Lord Blackrain as appointed as the CEO in Year 13 on Day 223. This operation lasted until Year 17, on Day 131 the company was relinquished to the Galactic Empire and on Day 160 it was amalgamated with another company.

The conflict between the Imperial Union and the Galactic Alliance has made the universe a harsh place for individuals, especially those who do not want to be made to pick a side. Many have done so simply because they have not been given any other options and not because they believe in one side over another.

Remolded by the former Naval Commanding Officer of the Galactic Empire, Aurora Technologies has managed to stay neutral in this conflict and has kept a very profitable relationship with both sides. President Senki Blackrain has adeptly maneuvered through the rough waves of the Galactic Civil War with the same confidence and sturdiness that his Navy was once known for.

Aiding President Blackrain in his quest to re-define the boundaries of what a faction should be are some of the brightest and most talented minds from all corners of the galaxy. One of which is the former Naval Training Officer of the Empire's Navy and a decorated strategist, Grand Admiral Gredek Dregoth. Together, the two have amassed a highly motivated team to help make Aurora Technologies one of the strongest and most successful factions in the very near future.

The importance of Aurora Technologies came from its technology. The company held datacards for popular starships and had an exclusive licencing contract with Sienar Fleet Systems during the partnership between the two factions.
