Monarch's Commendation of Valuable Service, also known simply as Valuable Service, is awarded for significant contribution in projects and operations, or other service for the betterment of One Nation Under Jou. The award was established in Year 23 to replace Letter of Commendation and Mentioned in Dispatches.
Description
The medal is a circular shape of silver colour. The obverse bears the allegorical figure of triumph and achievement, holding up a wreath of laurel leaves, with the inscription 'Commendation of Valuable Service'. The medal is mounted to the ribbon by a clasp with the inscription 'One Nation Under Jou'. The ribbon is rectangular, made of blue colour, with flower pip devices of silver or gold in a vertical row. On the ribbon bar the row of pips is horizontal.
The commendation device for ribbons is a silver stylised swirling vine branch with leaves.
