The Mentioned in Dispatches is a merit previously awarded to individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional work ethic and dedication during military operations or development projects, warranting a specific mention of their name in reports to their chain of command. The device of this award was not worn on it's own, but was attached to the appropriate medal or ribbon. Up to three devices could be worn on a single medal. The award was discontinued in Year 23 and replaced with the Valuable Service award, though the device remains in use for medals that were awarded with a commendation of valuable service.
Description
The device is a silver stylised swirling vine branch with leaves.
