Letter of Commendation, previously also known as Monarch's Commendation of Valuable Service, was awarded to individuals who have demonstrated a level of commitment in a military campaign or to a project above and beyond required duties. It was often the first award of merit for dedicated individuals that were in the early years of their national service. The device of this award was not worn on it's own, it was attached to the appropriate medal or ribbon. Up to three devices could be worn on a single medal. The award was discontinued in Year 23 and replaced with the Valuable Service award.

Description

The device is a silver flower with spray of symmetrical leaves on each side.
