Aurora Technologies was one of the oldest and most successful ship manufacturers in the galaxy, originally founded in Year 0 as Aurora Tech. It was renamed to Aurora Technologies in Year 10. The company was seized by Black Sun in Year 12 on Day 191 in a hostile takeover, and renamed to Kaos Orbital Technologies. On Day 201 a new company was registered as Aurora Technologies and merged with Kaos Orbital Technologies the next day to transfers intellectual property of the original company into a new corporate structure, whilst retaining the Aurora Technologies brand.

In the following year, Lord Blackrain was appointed as the CEO on Day 223. Under his leadership the company was operating as an independent business. From Year 14 the company worked almost exclusively alongside Sienar Fleet Systems from Morobe. This operation lasted until Year 17, on Day 131 control of the company was relinquished to the Galactic Empire and on Day 160 it was amalgamated with CorEx (the Core Exchange) banking company, thus ending the company's seventeen years of shipwright operations.

If you have not yet noticed, this galaxy is at war.

The conflict between the Imperial Union and the Galactic Alliance has made the universe a harsh place for individuals, especially those who do not want to be made to pick a side. Many have done so simply because they have not been given any other options and not because they believe in one side over another.

Remolded by the former Naval Commanding Officer of the Galactic Empire, Aurora Technologies has managed to stay neutral in this conflict and has kept a very profitable relationship with both sides. President Senki Blackrain has adeptly maneuvered through the rough waves of the Galactic Civil War with the same confidence and sturdiness that his Navy was once known for.

Aiding President Blackrain in his quest to re-define the boundaries of what a faction should be are some of the brightest and most talented minds from all corners of the galaxy. One of which is the former Naval Training Officer of the Empire's Navy and a decorated strategist, Grand Admiral Gredek Dregoth. Together, the two have amassed a highly motivated team to help make Aurora Technologies one of the strongest and most successful factions in the very near future.

Datacards

The importance of Aurora Technologies came from its technology. The company held datacards for popular starships and had an exclusive licencing contract with Sienar Fleet Systems during the partnership between the two factions.
