Ninian DeLayn is a politician and a businesswoman, serving as the Custodian of the One Nation's Crown Council. DeLayn is a former Captain of the Imperial Navy, she was the Commanding Officer of the 2nd Group, a sub-unit of the 2nd Imperial Fleet. After leaving Imperial service, DeLayn was Commodore of Aurora Technologies, and was in charge of human resources initiatives and finances for the company. DeLayn is credited with being the pilot who discovered the Morobe system in Year 14, and took part in the subsequent Operation Edelweiss. She continued to serve as a Naval officer in Permanent Solutions and Tion Hegemony. When One Nation was established, DeLayn transitioned into politics and her executive influence is de facto second only to the monarch.
