Monarch’s Commendation of Valuable Service, more commonly known as Letter of Commendation, is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated a level of commitment in a military campaign or to a project above and beyond required duties. It is often the first award of merit for dedicated individuals that are in the early years of their national service. The device of this award is not worn on it's own, but is attached to the appropriate medal or ribbon. Up to three devices can be worn on a single medal.
