Tion Defense Division was the result of integrating Permanent Solutions into Tion Hegemony. In Year 18 Morobe system became a protectorate of the Hegemony and the system's corporate authority was assimilated into the government's military as their 3rd Fleet. Next to regular duties in Tion territories, the 3rd Fleet functioned as the training centre for new recruits as well as officers in line for a command position. Tion Defense Division existed as a corporate entity to conserve Morobe's assets separately from the Hegemony, and in Year 21 the corporate structure served as the foundation for One Nation Under Jou.
