The Operation Edelweiss Medal was originally awarded in Year 14 by Aurora Technologies and Damorian Manufacturing Corporation to the individuals who were involved in securing the Morobe system when it discovered. The mission was codenamed Operation Edelweiss. When One Nation was established the medal was struck again with design to reflect the original, and incorporated into the nation's award system to allow serving members who earned this distinction to wear the medal.
