Moonlit Depths is an ocean enclosed by land on Talasea, located in the northwest region. It is the largest body of water on the planet, and as such played significant role in the planet's history. Before colonization in Year 14, Talasea's settlements were limited to the shores of the Moonlit Depths. Today, residences near the ocean demand a premium price and are among the most expensive in the system.
The Mooonlit Depths ocean is the only ocean in the system utilizing maritime navy. The governors of Talasea believe it is more environment friendly to use boats than spaceships.
