The Cross of Glory is the highest military award presented by One Nation Under Jou. It is awarded for the most exceptional act of valour, self-sacrifice, or extreme devotion to duty in the presence of an enemy. The Cross of Glory is one of the distinguished awards that allow its recipient the use of post-nominal letters, and might warrant a noble title.
Description
The medal is a cross with curved arms of dark blue surrounded in gold, and a superimposed gold coin in the centre, featuring a crowned effigy of Monarch Lilith facing left, circumscribed by the inscription LILITH OF MOROBE AND VORSIA COMPANION. The reverse bears the name of the recipient and the date awarded. The medal is mounted to the ribbon by a gold clasp with the inscription ONE NATION UNDER JOU.
The rectangular ribbon consists of a central black stripe, flanked each side by a stripe of grey and a thinner stripe of gold, with an outer stripe of crimson. The ribbon bar carries a gold cross device in the centre.
