Cross of Glory is the highest military award presented by One Nation. It is awarded for the most exceptional act of valour, self-sacrifice, or extreme devotion to duty in the presence of an enemy. The Cross of Glory is one of the distinguished awards that allow its recipient the use of post-nominal letters, and might warrant a noble title.
Description
The medal is a cross with curved arms of dark blue surrounded in gold, and superimposed gold coin in the centre, bearing the effigy of Monarch Lilith facing left, with the inscription 'Lilith of Morobe and Vorsia Companion'. The medal is mounted to the ribbon by a clasp with the inscription 'One Nation Under Jou'. The ribbon is rectangular, made of red, gold, grey and black coloured stripes. The ribbon bar carries a gold cross device.
