Operation Edelweiss Medal was originally awarded in Year 14 by Damorian Manufacturing Corporation to the individuals involved in helping securing the Morobe system. When One Nation was established the medal was struck again and incorporated into the nation's award system to allow serving members who earned this distinction to wear the medal.
