Rim Mining Guild (RMG) was a mining company founded in Year 14 by an independent entrepreneur Vesper Chambers. The company was taken over by Sabo Magus on Day 168, just over two weeks from the founding of it. According to Chambers it was an internal coup by Magus, and during his escape Chambers has taken at least one ship and significant portion of the company's wealth. It is unclear what happened to Chambers after he sold the procured ship on Centrepoint Marketplace, but it was suggested that Vesper did not survive the year.[1]
The company continued operations under Sabo until Year 15, and on Day 40 it was sold to Lord Blackrain. The company was under leadership of CEO Ninian DeLayn, providing raw materials to Sienar Fleet Systems (SFS) for most of the year until it was dissolved on Day 333 and its assets were absorbed into SFS corporate structure.
It was claimed by Chambers that the company operated during the Clone Wars and was lead by him since the conclusion of the war, working towards a secret project.[2] However, there are no records to validate these claims.
