Operation Edelweiss Medal was originally awarded in Year 14 by Damorian Manufacturing Corporation (DMC) to the individuals involved in helping securing the Morobe system. When One Nation was established the medal was struck again with design to reflect the original, and incorporated into the nation's award system to allow serving members who earned this distinction to wear the medal.

Description

The medal is a circular shape of copper colour. The obverse has the flower edelweiss with the inscription 'Permanent Solutions' above and 'Edelweiss' below. The ribbon is rectangular with a narrowed bottom end where it is connected to the medal by a loop. The ribbon is of blue colour with two silver stripes.
