The Campaign Service Medal was established in Year 27 to recognise service by citizens of One Nation Under Jou in campaigns and operations that do not have a specific medal in the nation's honour system. The first medals were awarded for Operation Southern Blockade, an operation that supported the Hydian Expanse campaign in the Khuiumin sector.

Description

The medal is a circular shape of silver colour. The obverse bears the allegorical figure of duty, dressed in armour and carrying a sword, circumscribed by the inscription HONOURABLE CAMPAIGN SERVICE. The reverse bears the name of the recipient and the dates their first Campaign Service Medal was awarded and the subsequent clasps. The medal is mounted to the ribbon by a silver clasp with the inscription ONE NATION UNDER JOU.

The Campaign Service Medal is always awarded with a campaign clasp. The campaign clasp consist of a silver bar bearing the name of the astrographic area of operations. The campaign clasps are attached to the medal's ribbon, and are worn in order of reception with the senior clasp at the bottom. On the ribbon bar the clasps are represented by one or more flower lily devices in a horizontal row.

The rectangular ribbon consists of a central red stripe, flanked by equal crimson and black stripes.
