Within the city resides the monarch's residence, the [[Illumine Palace]], and the [[Nightwell Cathedral]], the center of the nation's religion in Morobe. The two landmarks were built on the opposing ends of the city so the first of Morobe's two suns rises over the palace and the last sun sets over the cathedral. It is a local tradition that no other buildings are allowed to block the sun from reaching the palace or the cathedral.

Most of the architecture in the city does not accurately portray how old the city is. With the rise of One Nation, many architects were hired to develop a unifying style to reflect the new nation and the city was extensively rebuilt, replacing the original foundations that were laid by the first colonists.

Several industrial space stations were built with the cooperation of the Federation to enhance the moon's economy, which prompted the larger government to improve the system's defenses with more military stations. Relationship with the Trade Federation continued to develop until [[Year 16]] when [[Lilith Delcroix]] was discharged from office of Regional Governor. The moon later received further support from the [[Tion Hegemony]] government whilst Lilith was the First Lady of Tion between [[Year 18]] and [[Year 21]]. When Lilith's wife [[Stephanie Barefoot]] resigned from her role as Lady Hegemon, Vorsian Crown expanded its territories to [[Morobe]] system and created [[One Nation Under Jou]].

The capital of Vorsia Companion is [[Bloodthrone City]], located in the moon's southern hemisphere. The palace, which was once a crime lord's summer retreat, has been enriched with grandiose golden spires and countless windows, reassembling a cathedral fortress. Today it is the seat of power of the ruling government. The rest of the city contains entertainment centers for its citizens, luxurious skyscrapers and streets filled with statues. It also houses the largest hospital on the moon. The support and resources Countess Lilith was able to secure through her service in larger governments allowed a high standard of living to be common across the vast majority of the moon.

==History==

Details about the first settlers on the moon are lost to history. The first recorded government of the moon was established by the original Bounty Hunters Guild when they found an abandoned base and claimed it for their own. The Guild developed many large cities on the surface, the population quickly increased, and eventually the Guild turned it into a large recruitment center and a military base. Every city hosted a number of barracks for all its paramilitary personnel. Unsurprisingly, the culture became highly militaristic and almost every citizen served in the armed forces at least once during their lives.

After internal struggle within the Bounty Hunters Guild, the government of the moon was crippled and the population succumbed to chaos and crime when control was given to the [[Black Sun]] syndicate. This was in exchange for assets stolen from the Guild by its former Second-In-Command Karl Korne. It did not take long for the crime syndicate to gain total control over the moon and establish a new political system. It is believed the moon was overseen by former Vigo Tar Alaks, as the only palace on the surface was known as the Vigo's summer retreat. After some time, Black Sun lost interest and the moon's control was sold into private hands, including Aries Rathakar and Anakin Aikinar, respectively. It is unknown what changes the moon underwent; however, population and crime levels remained high during this time.

In late [[Year 11]], the control of the highly populated moon was sold to [[Lilith Delcroix]]. At that time she was part of the Black Sun Family and so it was easier for her to root out independent crime cells and decrease their activities. However, the moon remained independent from all political bodies and under her sole ownership, which was not fully welcomed by the populace. City administrators had enjoyed relative freedom for many years, but Lilith believed a political system with a single figure with absolute authority would be far more effective and efficient.

Despite its militaristic heritage the moon lacked any form of united armed forces or a defense fleet. This is attributed to the fact that only the core population held the military tradition, while most of the other cities could barely sustain the number of people they contained. With the help of Black Sun Family, hired mercenaries and her own small private fleet, Lilith was able to quickly secure the orbit and airspace due to very little opposition. As the owner of all the major infrastructure, Lilith's forces cut off power to whole cities at a time to minimize resistance. Some cities were without power for several days and among the original population it is remembered as 'The Blackout'.

After all the major cities were secured, the power began to be restored and the people were informed about the new form of government that was being established. Taking the moon's palace did not go without bloodshed and collectively Lilith's forces were called 'Bloodthrone' by the locals, which later became their official name. After peace was achieved Lilith began her reign by proclaiming herself Sovereign Countess. From the several groups, clans, and corporations that held power in the main population areas, the three most prominent ones were approached to help form families and a council that would govern districts of the moon, act as advisors and to rule in the sovereign's absence.
Since then the moon enjoyed times of prosperity and stability.

Early in [[Year 24]], Vorsia Companion was highlighted by the [[Confederacy of Independent Systems|Confederate News]] outlets{{Website Reference|link=https://swc-confederacy.com/2023/01/12/demolition-of-beloved-building-stirs-local-vorsians-into-frenzy/|title=Demolition of Beloved Building Stirs Local Vorsians into Frenzy!

The local authorities restored order and control quickly, but not before the event appeared on the 'events in brief' segment of [[Galactic News Service]]. The demolition was part of the process to merge Royal Vorsian Healthcare into [[Troika Medical Distribution]].

==Description==

The surface of the moon was entirely covered in dense woodlands and jungles, however, since the easiest colonisation much of the vegetation has been cleared out to make room for urban development. Though what remains of the jungles still has great impact on the climate, causing high daytime temperatures and significantly colder nights. Prolonged rainy seasons are also common on Vorsia Companion.

==Culture==

People of Vorsia Companion consider themselves culturally separate from the rest of the nation, they are Vorsian first and are not overly concerned with affairs of Morobe. Majority of the nation's nobles are Vorsian, and this is reflected in the sentiment of loyalty to the Crown, rather than the federal government. Not many residents of the older generations take the opportunity to live or work in Morobe. Mostly the younger generations travel outside of the moon to experience something new. Those who lived through the moon's changes and improvements in standards of living are quite happy to remain there.

The prevalence of Human High Culture also makes the moon feel unwelcoming to non-humans, and those who visit Vorsia are mostly interested in the historic sites of the faith rather than visiting for leisure. When Vorsians visit Morobe, they are often met with preconceived opinions about not liking non-humans, which can make social life difficult for those that moved to Morobe for study or work.

The asteroid received its cartographic name from the asteroid field where it is located. Tau is a letter from the Old Tionese alphabet, a common practice in galactic naming conventions of asteroids and asteroid fields.

Talasea is unique among the planets of Morobe because it does not have a metropolis or any other dominant city. The city considered to be its capital, [[Terraglen]], is located on the eastern coast of the ocean where the wealthiest citizens live and the administrative buildings are located. The planet's educational focus is unsurprisingly agricultural, however, engineering is also a popular topic of study as the residents realise the importance of maintaining the farming equipment. This has led to a cultural phenomenon where the oldest children take over the family farming business, while the younger siblings are often expected to become engineers and mechanics.

The farming focus on Talasea is a mixture of arable and pastoral. The most common domesticated herds are bantha and rycrit, both animals raised for their meat and hides. Before Talasea was rediscovered and colonised in [[Year 14]], both animals evolved into feral subspecies due to being left alone to roam the unsettled parts of the planet. Efforts were made to contain the feral herds and preserve them in certain locations. Today, feral banthas are found in the southern jungles, while feral ryclits roam the mountains. Both species are a popular target for recreational hunting. Talasea is also known for its exports of the Kaha tree, a native plant whose branches naturally grow in aesthetically pleasing cone shapes and are popular as decorative trees.

The importance of Talasea's agriculture is well known and appreciated even by the average citizens of Morobe. The farmers that visit other planets in the system are often popular among the youth and respected among adults. Talasea has an especially close relationship with [[Morabora]], as the planet covered with permanent ice is the most reliant on the food exports and the shipyard hub, which is smaller than that of Moroa but it provides work opportunities much closer to home. In the highest echelons of politics within the [[One Nation Under Jou]], this has led to concerns that representatives of Talasea have too much influence over Morabora where the vast majority of citizens, and so the most potential workforce, resides.

The residents of Talasea are hard working people who know their value to the nation. They are proud of their agricultural work and the local politicians can be more blunt with the demands on the federal government because of the planet's importance. Most residents of Talasea live in relative luxury but leisure is secondary to ensuring their farms and fields are taken care of. People of Talasea are also generally known to be fit and active, and often quite intelligent due to the prevalence of research facilities on the planet.

Talasea is home to some of the wealthiest citizens; the planet is seen as a great place for retirement due to its large natural parks and reservations. The areas of untouched nature also attract many tourists, which are not always welcomed by the locals if they are not respectful to the environment and the wildlife. The laws for preserving nature on Talasea carry some of the harshest penalties across the nation.

Citizens of [[One Nation Under Jou]] are not encouraged to pursue bounty hunting as a profession, the culture of higher society aims to build people up, not hunt them for profit, however, the rough residents of Morta tend to take whatever jobs they can get.

The combination of a number of factors led to a mixed, mostly unfavourable, reputation among the system's population. Morta is not seen as a planet wanted to be visited for pleasure or as an aspiring place of residence or work. The common stereotype is that mines of Morta are destined for the least skilled labourers, and Morta is often associated with expletive expressions in reference to its hellish landscape. This dreary outlook is in stark contrast to the more developed planets in the system. Life on Morta is considered to be more about survival than living. This led to a fascinating split among the residents when One Nation Under Jou was formed in [[Year 21]]. Many residents are skeptical of the government's ability to deliver on its promises to make their lives easier, but some of the most devout and fervent believers of the nation's religion are found on Morta because they want to believe that through the tenants of the faith, Morta can become a better place to live.

The majority of its ashen surface is inhospitable jagged plains, shaped by lava oceans and rivers. Tall mountains surrounding a desert plateau form the only continent that is habitable. Although the mountain ranges provide some protection from the lava oceans, the lack of atmosphere makes the surface outside of cities with a controlled environment unbreathable for most species without protective gear.

Despite the best engineering efforts, Morta's proximity to a sun makes any prolonged stay on the shores of the mountainous landmass, locally known as Zadros, uncomfortable even in the environmentally controlled cities. Because of this, there is a frequent flux of people moving in and out of Tor Aashrur, looking for a respite from the arid mountain cities. Morta's permanent population is significantly smaller in comparison to the number of people travelling there for work from other planets in the system. The permanent residents are mostly those of species that do not find the hot, arid environment problematic and those that do not have a choice. Precisely because of its hostile surface, Morta houses the largest prison complex in the Morobe system.

Living on Morta is difficult on the best of days. The planet's environment is unforgiving and those who live on Morta most often do not live there by choice or preference. Majority of residents are low skill labourers in the numerous factories and mines, and when they are not working they can most often be found either in a local tavern or rushing to get home. The planet has a very minor population of young people and children, those born there usually consider themselves unfortunate and will try to leave for a different planet in the nation at the earliest opportunity, and families avoid raising children there as much as possible.

The struggle of living on Morta caused many of its residents to turn to crime. It is the only planet in the nation which has a problem with organised crime, gang activities and other illegal businesses. Some of the locals believe that Morta was forgotten by the federal government and is only used for its resources. Popularity of Tor Aashrur with bounty hunters and offworlders in general has made it more difficult to contain the underworld activities. The frequent traffic to and from the city makes it difficult to monitor, and the inability to fully shield the planet would make such efforts more work than it would be worth. The locals who have no other means to travel are usually eager to take jobs that will take them off the planet.

By the time the system was rediscovered and colonised in [[Year 14]], Morabora had sufficient population centres concentrated around the prominent mountains that offered the most protection against the elements. This allowed for a relatively easy transition to an ecumenopolis as there was no environmental preservation to consider. Thanks to this extensive planetary development, the population is safe from the icy weather patterns, or at least for as long as the city life-support systems are maintained.

Morabora is the home to the vast majority of the system's residents, which is reflected in the planet's infrastructure. The ecumenopolis was predominantly developed with residential areas to house the population and to provide citizens with places of work, entertainment and the means to travel to the other planets within the system. The most luxurious properties are situated around the mountains and craters, especially those that feature natural hot springs. The planetary government is located on the largest mountain known as [[Misthold]].

Morabora does not have any typical farms as the freezing climate does not allow for agriculture outside of environmentally-controlled greenhouses. Because of this, the planet has little to no local natural food production, mostly relying on factory-produced foods and imports. This had the unforeseen effect of local crime being centered around food and making protection of these imports the priority for local authorities.

The majority of Morabora's surface are vast glacier plains of frozen oceans, sporadically broken up by mountains that pierce through the ice, and craters left behind by ancient meteor impacts. As the planet has no moons to influence the oceans beneath the ice, the surface of the planet is relatively stable with no major shifts in the landscape. This lack of seismic activity was a major contributing factor for the settlement of the planet, alongside the fact that the boundless and featureless frozen plains provided an easy-to-develop foundation for the colonists. The toxicity of the atmosphere was not a concern thanks to environmentally protected cities.

Although daytime temperatures are survivable by many species, Morabora's toxic atmosphere makes it impossible for most to survive outside of the cities without protective gear.

There is a notable lack of fauna on the planet. Dangerous predators that evolved in the icy environment were hunted to extinction and docile creatures lost their habitats because of urban development. These days only rare cave-dwelling creatures can be still occasionally seen. It is speculated there are fish deep under the ice but its thickness has not made this scientific enquiry practical.

==Culture==

The average resident of Morabora is a working class person. Generally, the residents have a no-nonsense attitude and concern themselves less with the nation's politics and focus more on their day to day lives. Residents of Morabora have a good standard of living where their needs for work and housing are met, but understand the comfort in their lives comes from properly functioning infrastructure of their cities; without environmental controls the harsh frozen environment of the planet would not make their lives pleasant. It is common practice on Morabora to not be wasteful with resources, especially with food, which is not taken for granted as the majority of non-processed food is imported from other planets.

Elements of the population believe they are the most important planet in the nation, due to being the largest and most populated, and there are those who could complain about the upper echelons of the government not giving Morabora enough attention, however, the vast majority appreciate the safety and stability of living in the system.

'''Moroa''' is a tropical planet with a lush environment and the cultural capital of the [[Morobe]] system. From the earliest days of the system's colonisation, Moroa was the most favoured planet by the more affluent colonists because its tropical but limited landmass was a valuable commodity. For a long time, Moroa was the least developed planet in the system in terms of urban areas. The focus was not on the number of cities, but the quality of life within each city. As such Moroa always was a popular travel destination and was seen as the paradise world where most colonists aspired to live. This mindset contributed to overdevelopment of the planet in recent years as the system established a central government and more residents were elevated to the upper social class. This urban expansion has significantly reduced Moroa's historic appeal, but the cities have retained the highest average standard of living in the system.

In the early years of Moroa's historic settlement, there was discontent between the northern and southern settlers of the continent named Audela. Due to the north being more appealing than the mountainous south, both groups laid claim to the grasslands in between. These conflicts are mostly a thing of the past. However, among the oldest families, the resentment remains despite the prejudice being socially frowned upon and mostly forgotten by the younger generations. The most common prevailing aspect of this past conflict are folktales tied to the swamps at the base of the southern mountains, which are often used to caution children about the highland monsters. A more recent social issue is the class divide between residents living on the continent, who refer to themselves as Audelians, and those from the ocean cities.

Since the establishment of [[One Nation Under Jou]] in late [[Year 21]] Moroa has been the financial and political centre of the system, due to being the seat of power of the federal government. Within the capital city [[Aeranas]] resides the monarch's residence, the [[Illumine Palace]], and the [[Nightwell Cathedral]], the centre of the nation's religion in Morobe. The two landmarks were built on the opposing ends of the city so the first of Morobe's two suns rises over the palace and the last sun sets over the cathedral. It is a local tradition that no other buildings are allowed to block the sun from reaching the palace or the cathedral. Alongside prominent landmarks and desirable real estate, Moroa also provides ample education and career opportunities, placing it at the forefront of civil developments within the system. Many of Moroa's residents greatly influence commerce, politics, as well as fashion, music and other social arts.

==Description==

Majority of the planet's surface is covered by a vast ocean surrounding one continent with varied climate zones. The central, largest part of the continent consists of sweeping grasslands with a colder mountain highlands to the east and tropical desert in the northern regions. The only other significant landmass on Moroa is the [[Silver Chain]] archipelago located north-east from the continent. Residents of Moroa enjoy a fairly temperate climate all year round as there is little variation between the seasons. The continent is seldom affected by the oceans outside of the annual storm period when the coastal communities are in danger of tidal waves. However, the urban settlement of the oceans has led to massive improvements in early warning systems to combat the potential dangers.

==Culture==

Life on Moroa is busy. As the heart of the nation, the planet's residents are driven to be always on the move, lest someone else takes their opportunities. The wealth available to the residents also allows them to enjoy themselves frequently, and take advantage of the tropical environment and countless shopping plazas. Many people of Moroa could be described as flamboyant, especially those in the capital city and the surrounding districts. The planet also has a large student population, the largest universities in the system can be found on Moroa and they attract students from across the nation.

Patriotism can also be felt on Moroa more than anywhere else in the system, due to the presence of the royal family and resulting media campaigns that maintain positive opinions about the monarch and the government. Support for the One Nation's federal government is strongest on Moroa because the citizens feel the benefits the most.
